Terms and Conditions of Sale

    Deposit
  • We will hold your Goods for up to 3 days with a deposit or up to 3 hours without a deposit.
     

    Before delivery
  • If you change your mind and cancel the order up to 48 hours before the delivery date; we will issue a credit note for 80% of the value of the goods, valid for 3 months only.
  • Please note we expect all deliveries or collections to be made within 14 days, after which we reserve the right to charge a storage fee based on 10% per week of the value of each item payable before we release the item, after 10 weeks we will then sell the items to cover our costs.
     

    Delivery
  • The delivery charge is for one address only.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure the item will fit into your home safely, we advise you to measure first.
  • We will try to deliver to a room of your choice. We do not remove doors, windows or lift items above a safe working height.
  • We will not refund the delivery charge for failed deliveries or returned items.
  • If the item will not fit into your home we will either, at your choice:
    • (a) Leave it in a suitable space.
    • (b)Deliver it to a near by alternative address which may incur an additional delivery charge.
    • (c) Return the item to the warehouse. A 25% handling fee of the cost of returned goods will be deducted from any refund.
  • If you require the item to be delivered above ground floor please inform us when arranging delivery.
  • If you are unavailable for the scheduled delivery we may charge a re-delivery fee. This must be paid at the store before a further delivery is attempted.
     

    After delivery
  • If you change your mind on or after delivery we are unable to collect, refund, exchange or issue a credit note.
  • All goods must be checked for damage at delivery. Please notify the driver immediately.
     

    Electrical
  • All electrical items have been tested for safety and basic functioning. Each appliance is guaranteed for a period of three months from delivery. This does not cover accidental damage or misuse.
  • If the appliance fails within the first three months we will either:
    • Issue a credit note for 100% of the value
    • Or, exchange it for a suitable replacement as soon as one becomes available
    • Or, provide a full refund once we have carried out a fault finding investigation.

ANY ATTEMPT TO RECTIFY A PROBLEM YOURSELF WILL INVALIDATE THE GUARANTEE.
 



    Washing Machine and Dishwashers
  • We recommend you clean the inner drum of washing machines before use. Also, that you do a ‘dummy’ wash before washing your usual laundry or crockery.
  • We recommend new hoses when installing washing machines and dishwashers.
     

    Fridge Freezers
  • We recommend that all refrigeration is left to stand in place for 24 hours after delivery before switching on, and that you run the unit for 24 hours before putting food in.
  • No compensation can be given for loss or damage caused by the failure of an appliance.
  • As all refrigeration items must be transported upright to avoid damage we recommend you use our delivery service.

Failure to follow these recommendations will invalidate your warranty.

All cookers, Electric and Gas should by fitted by a qualified engineer.
WASHING MACHINES should be fitted by a competent person.
