TRUP (The Re-Use Partnership) is the leading re-use organisation in Thurrock and has built a strong reputation for delivering a good service for its customers. Uniquely positioned in the Thames Gateway area, TRUP is the only organization that aims to reduce landfill, by providing low cost goods in an effort to reduce poverty and use this as a means for training and volunteering opportunities all in one place.

The Second Generation Furniture Warehouse is the first stage of an ambitious plan to bring together people from all areas of the community to share knowledge and improve their own lives and that of the communities they live in. We do not see disability as a barrier and we activity encourage all volunteers to work together.

All of these outcomes have a positive impact on people’s lives and the environment, from something that would, without our intervention have ended up in a hole in the ground.

Visit to our base in East Tilbury and you will find a well stocked second-hand department store, where you can get everything from a sofa to a pot of paint to improve your home, but when you start to understand what we do you find out its much more.
